How EMS-Display handles the data you send us, and the terms that govern quotations, orders, warranty and confidential engineering — effective 15 January 2025, version 1.0.
Your data, and what we do with it
This policy applies to information collected through the inquiry form on this site, the quote modal, direct email and any factory-visit registration. It is written for engineers and buyers, not lawyers.
What we collect
When you send an inquiry we receive your name, work email, company, the display size, interface and volume you specify, and your message. That is the complete set — we do not collect payment details, browsing history or data from third-party sources.
How we use it
Inquiry data is used for one purpose: sales follow-up. That means a response within 48 hours, engineering selection advice, a quotation on an FOB Shenzhen basis, and production scheduling if you proceed. We never sell, rent or trade your data to any third party.
GDPR and your rights
For customers in the European Union we honor GDPR rights: access, correction and deletion of your data on request to sales@ems-display.com. Records tied to orders or quality traceability are kept for up to 3 years per ISO 9001 document-control requirements, then deleted.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses only session-required cookies for the inquiry form. We do not run advertising trackers or cross-site profiling. Usage analytics, where present, are anonymized aggregates about pages visited, never about individual inquiries.
Data security
Form submissions travel over HTTPS and are stored on access-restricted systems used only by our sales and engineering teams. Batch records that reference your data are handled under the same ISO 9001 controls as our production documentation.
Quotations, orders, warranty and more
These terms govern every quotation we issue and every order we accept. Specific program terms are always confirmed in writing on the quotation itself; where this page conflicts with a signed agreement, the agreement wins.
Quotations and pricing
Quotations are valid for 30 days from issue and are priced on an FOB Shenzhen basis in USD. One-time NRE and tooling costs are itemized separately and are never hidden inside the unit price. Pricing changes require a new written quotation.
Orders and payment
Standard payment is T/T 30/70 — a 30% deposit with the purchase order and 70% before shipment — or an irrevocable L/C for larger programs. Sample orders are prepaid. Orders may be amended before production starts; post-production changes follow a written change order.
Warranty
Standard modules carry a 12-month warranty from shipment; custom and medical-grade lines carry 24 months. The warranty covers materials and workmanship under documented operating conditions, backed by failure analysis and an RMA process. It excludes misuse, unauthorized modification and damage in transit to the carrier's territory.
Export compliance
Every shipment includes RoHS and REACH declarations, and CE or FCC documentation where applicable. Modules are classified under HS 8524, which our customs team confirms per order. The buyer is responsible for import duties, destination-market compliance and any export-license obligations outside China.
Intellectual property and confidentiality
Custom drawings, driver selections and specifications you share are treated as confidential and used only to build your product. Where you ask, we sign an NDA before drawing review. We retain rights to our standard designs and manufacturing know-how; you retain all rights to your product design.
